They say we are “daring, adventurous and militant.”

We believe in the power of mass communication and are inspired by new modes of storytelling. We create work that exists at the limits of art, technology and act

JAPC was founded by award winning artists Poulomi Basu and CJ Clarke and was forged out of the radical guerilla spirit of Just Another Photo Festival, a photography, film and new media festival that democratises visual media by bringing it back to the world itself and forging new audiences.

Our projects have helped change laws and create positive impact. We have done this through our partnerships with organisations such as WaterAid on their To Be A Girl campaign, which raised £2 million providing 130,000 girls with reusable sanitary kits and build toilets; with ActionAid on the campaign #MyBodyIsMine; and with the eco-feminist project Sisters of the Moon, which raised £5.6 million as part of WaterAid’s Thirst for Knowledge campaign.

We constantly evolve, looking for ways to reach new audiences and ways to create lasting impact through our work and the stories we tell.

We believe that Tarkovsky put it best when he said, “The beautiful is hidden from the eyes of those who are not searching for the truth.”

Our films have been have been screened internationally, including: selected nominee in-competition Festival de Cannes, SXSW, CPH:Dox. Selected Winner Special Jury Prize at Tribeca Festival, Selected Winner Viborg Film Festival Anidox VR and, Selected Winner European XR Awards. Selected Winner, Best Experimental – Aesthetica Film Festival 2022 (Fireflies).

Our work is held in several public collections:

Victoria & Albert Museum (UK)
Museum of Modern Art Library - Special Collections (USA)
Harvard Art Museums (USA)
